Term3 Physical Education - Gymnastics

WALT order and compare objects or events by length by direct comparison using a gingerbread man shape.

Term 3 Writing

WALT write a recount by thinking about and answering ‘Who? What? When? Why?’

Yesterday I went to the ear piercing shop. I got some earrings. They shot the earring in the hole. It felt weird. Then I went to Cole's home for tea. We had a yummy tea. I loved the topping on the pizza. I only eat the bottom of the pizza normally. Cole and Dad and I went to Westlake Park which was fun. We got to go to bed really late. I fell asleep in the car and my mum had to put me to bed. The next day I went to school in the rain. I was cold. At school we have been learning about how to count in tens. It is fun. We didn't have fun the next school day because Coby was being naughty and she was being mean to me. Lelah and I like playing together. We play animals. It is fun playing that. We like playing together. We do writing all the time. We have fruit break every day. I have nice friends.

Term 3 Discovery

Term 2 Integrated Arts.

WALT to dance, use poi and rakau.

Student Voice - " I am really good at dancing because I love it. I can use the rakau sticks correctly".

Student Voice - We did a science experiment at Discovery. WE had to use our thinking to predict what might happen.

Writing Term 2

WALT write a recount.

SUCCESS CRITERIA We will have written about an event that has happened. We will have answered some of these questions - who, what, when,why, when?
Yesterday I made a game and it was fun. I made a book too. I brought my headband to school and shared it for News. This morning I had fun and my Mum coloured in most of it. She had fun too.

Reading Term 2

WALT use strategies in reading.
SUCCESS CRITERIA I will use the picture, look at the words, get my mouth ready, read on and come back to the unknown word.

Numeracy Term 2

WALT count in 2s,5s and 10s forwards and backwards.
SUCCESS CRITERIA - I can count 2, 4, 6, 8,10 up to 100 and back again
- I can count 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 up to 100 and back again.
- I can count 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 up to 100 and back again.
Count by 2s,5s,10s.

CARE Term 1

SUCCESS CRITERIA - We will have written about something that has already happened and we will have events in the correct order.
In the holiday I went camping with my family. We did it in the forest because we wanted to.

Discovery Term 1

LEARNING INTENTION

Today with Mr Shaskey we learned about sketching and drawing. We learned to set the limits, draw the outline and then add the shapes.

SUCCESS CRITERIA
We can follow instructions and sketch some fruit and vegetables
